Manaus, Brazil - Spring 2014 Medical Mission Team (added 4/12/13)
A conference-wide medical mission team is being planned to the Amazon River in the spring of 2014. Team leader, Elaine Jones, RN, will hold an informational meeting at Portland First on May 21, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. (1838 SW Jefferson St., Portland, 97201). The team will work for one week on the Methodist mission boat at Manaus, Brazil. The group of 10-12 volunteers needs at least one physician, one dentist, one dental assistant as well as nurses and non-medical personnel.
